Internet of things can help redesign the whole energy infrastructure for efficiency and wastage proof. Smart grids that can work as-needed based on data collected and analyzed, store the key to make electricity supply uninterrupted and efficient. Also such smart solutions can help protect the old infrastructure from sudden stress due to overload or calamity.
Smart electricity meters, IoT backed power turbines, power lines with sensors embedded and smarter ways to harness renewable energy resources is how we can progress substantially.
